Your Group's Assignment:  When you have completed your reading and web search, collectively respond to the questions below in preparation to "teach" your concept with your original "home group."

 

 

Using This Wiki

  1. Select a recorder.

Define the Theory

 Process where leaders and followers engage in a mutual process of raising one another to higher levels of moralitiy and motivation.

 

Example A Hero - resting on devotion to the specific and exceptional sanctity, heroism or exemplary character of an individual person, and of the normative patterns or order revealed or ordained by him (Charismatic authority).  

 

 

 

 

What are the outcomes?  When might this leadership style be used?

 

 Using data to drive to transition to bring about a change.

 Leader must know their audience, and how to present the shared vision.

 

 

 

What are the critical skills an administrator would need to be able to demonstrate this leadership style?

 Know your audience.

 Know your informal leaders  and those are commited to the shared vision.

 Understand that change occurs in incremental steps, knowing that you must be flexible.

Understand your circle of influence.

Awareness of interpersonal relationships.
