Hersey/Blanchard & Heifetz/Linsky

What are the outcomes?  When might this leadership style be used?

The level of experience of the staff and the needed outcomes of task affect the leadership style.  For example, a new hire may need a more leadership directed style, a seasoned and highly motivated staff member may need less direction by the leader.

What are the critical skills an administrator would need to be able to demonstrate this leadership style?

1)  Know you staff

2)  Balance

3)  Trust is a foundation
