Instructional Leadership
Situational Leadership allows the leader to adapt their response to the situation. The leader takes into consideration the "followers" level of committment and competancy when determining the style of leadership to employ. The leader has the ability to analyze each situation and lead appropriately. When the leader chooses an appropriate response, the job gets done and relationships are formed.
Shared Leadership
Situational leadership allows for each individual to capitalize on their strengths and contribute to a solution. Shared leadership can be collaborative, collective or coordinated.
Operational/Resource Management
Situational leadership allows the leader to determine the resources necessary to complete the task.
