Collective Knowledge about Situational Leadership
Your Group's Assignment: When you have completed your reading and web search, collectively respond to the questions below in preparation to "teach" your concept with your original "home group."
Using This Wiki
- Select a recorder.
- Recorder will enter in the space below the group's collective knowledge in each category. While the recorder is entering text into the wiki, group members stand behind, providing input!

Define the Theory
Being able to diagnose the needs of an individual or a team and then use the appropriate leadership style to respond to the needs of the person and the situation.
Leadership based upon environment.
Adapt leadership style to the followers development style.
Reading the group to see what developmental level they are currently at.
You need to measure how competent and committed your followers are.
What are the outcomes? When might this leadership style be used?
Needs to be used at different levels at all times. When used correctly you can create a better chance of success on the issues being worked on.
What are the critical skills an administrator would need to be able to demonstrate this leadership style?
Being able to read both people and various types of situation.
Intrapersonal skills while working with individuals.
An understanding of what your own administrative abilities and knowledge bases are.
